Flash Floods Possible in Small Rivers Across Nepal

Kathmandu. There is a possibility of flash floods in small and tributary rivers across the country. According to the bulletin issued by the Flood Forecasting Division, the water flow in small rivers in more than 34 districts will increase significantly today, posing a moderate risk of flash floods. The Division stated that small rivers in Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar, Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Dolakha, Sindhupalchok, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Gorkha, Lamjung, and Chitwan will see increased flow.
