The government deployed bulldozers on Saturday to clear two squatter settlements located in Thapathali and Gairigaun, Kathmandu.The Metropolitan City, with the assistance of the police, demolished the settlements and reported that 89 individuals from 27 families have been relocated to temporary shelters. Initially, bulldozers and excavators were used to clear the settlement in Thapathali on Saturday morning.
