Foreign Minister Shishir Khanaal has stated that environmental and natural disasters seen in the Himalayan region are not just a problem for one country but a shared challenge with cross-border impacts. Addressing the Kashmandap Dialogue held in Kathmandu on Saturday, Minister Khanaal expressed sorrow over the recent Bhotekoshi disaster and thanked the Chinese government and people for their humanitarian assistance and solidarity. He noted that while political borders separate countries, the Himalayas and its ecosystem are interconnected beyond borders.
