Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Ojaswi Sherchan has been elected to the House of Representatives' Education, Health and Information Technology Committee by a majority.Sherchan and CPN (UML)'s Guru Baral were the candidates competing for the position in the education committee. Sherchan was elected during the meeting by a majority vote.The committee declared the winner based on majority and minority standing without conducting a formal vote count.
