Former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has stated that floods, landslides, and other natural disasters seen in the Himalayan region should not be viewed solely as Nepal's internal problems. Speaking at the third series of the Kashmandap Dialogue held in Kathmandu on Saturday, Khanal expressed the view that such disasters are linked to global temperature rise, necessitating regional and international cooperation for the mitigation of Himalayan risks.
