Kathmandu. The first convention of the Nepal Tharu Sangh, affiliated with the Nepali Congress, is scheduled to begin today. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa will inaugurate the convention today at 12:15 PM at the central office of the Nepali Congress in Sanepa, Lalitpur.The Sangh has stated that it is organizing its first convention with nationality, democracy, socialism, and the unity of the Tharu community as its core foundation.
