The government has appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki as the Prime Minister's Special Security Advisor and decided to appoint an Additional Inspector General (AIG) as the Inspector General. This decision by the government has replicated the incident of 2053 BS in the police force.
