Niger. Following the escalating violence by Boko Haram and ISIS-affiliated groups in Nigeria, the United States has dispatched 100 soldiers to northern Nigeria. The confirmation was made on Monday by Nigerian Defense Headquarters spokesperson, Samaila Uba, stating that the soldiers have arrived in the Bauchi region.According to him, the US soldiers will not participate in direct combat.
