Bagmati Province Minister without Portfolio Rama Alemgar takes oath of office and secrecy
HETAUDA, April 2: Rama Ale Magar, who was appointed a Minister without Portfolio from the CPN (Unified Socialist) in Bagmati Province, has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Bagmati Province will formulate a science, Technology, research, and innovation policy soon in the coming days. The Province discussed the draft in this regard today (10th of March, 2022).
The draft prepared by Bagmati Province was discussed with the participation of stakeholders at a program held at Siddhartha Cottage in Kathmandu. The chief guest at the discussion and suggestion gathering program was Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey.
A five-member committee has also been formed under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Dinesh Bhuju to improve the draft from the program....
KATHMANDU, October 28: Rajendra Prasad Pandey of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is scheduled to be appointed as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province on Thursday.
Pandey is also scheduled to take an oath of office and secrecy on the same day.
Pandey on Wednesday staked a claim for the post of new Chief Minister of Bagmati Province before Bagmati Province Chief, Yadav Chandra Sharma with signatures of 59 province assembly members.
According to the Province Chief Secretariat, leader Pandey submitted his claim along with signatures and support of four political parties represented in the Bagmati Province Assembly.
Earlier, Bagmati Province Chief Sharma had called for the formation of a new government in the Province following the resignation of out-going CM Asta Laxmi Shakya.
Shakya resigned in accordance with Article 169 (1) (A) of the Constitution of Nepal. Out-going CM Shakya had tendered her resignation to the Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma on Wednesday.
KATHMANDU, September 1: Krishna Prasad Khanal, Minister for Social Development in Bagmati Province, resigned from his post on Wednesday.
Khanal, who was appointed minister representing the CPN (UML) , resigned today and has decided to join the newly formed CPN (Unified Socialist)- led by Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Earlier on Tuesday, as many as 12 lawmakers of the province had authenticated their names to join the CPN( Unified Socialist).
