Lumbini: Bimala Oli moves to Maoist Centre to bar Pokhrel’s re-election bid
The confidence of Shankar Pokhrel, who resigned from the position of the Lumbini chief minister on Sunday morning, has been shaken with one lawmaker supporting him defecting to the CPN-Maoist Centre.
Bimala Oli, a member of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly representing the CPN-Maoist Centre, has filed a complaint with the police claiming former chief minister and CPN-UML leader Shankar Pokhrel abducted and held her hostage.
