FNCCI urges govt to introduce targeted stimulus packages for small enterprises
KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Private sector has expressed its dissatisfaction with the banks for their reluctance to provide the small enterprises with the benefits that have been provisioned by the monetary policy.
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has intensified its 'Save Economy' campaign claiming that country's economy has witnessed multiple challenges and the private sector has come on the verge of collapse.
The FNCCI & IFC are joining hands to prepare a report, assessing the status of the private sector in Nepal and recording the contribution of this sector to the national economy.
FNCCI is worried that the bi-annual review of the monetary policy of current fiscal year could affect the economic activities which have gained momentum post pandemic.
FNCCI, as the umbrella organisation of all the traders, entrepreneurs, and industrialists of the country, was taking initiatives for resolving the problems in this sector.
