Only 30 percent of hotels and restaurants operating in their full capacity: NRB report
KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Around 70 percent of the hotels and restaurants have still failed to operate in their full capacity even as the economy is already heading on the path of recovery after severe impacts of COVID-19.

The court has ruled that the area surrounding Fewa Lake should be maintained at a distance of 65 meters, prompting the demolition of all unlawfully built structures. The order has been directed to the federal government, Pokhara metropolis, and all relevant agencies.

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The government has made the COVID-19 vaccination card mandatory in public places from January 21.
One needs to show the vaccination card to receive services from government offices and hotels and restaurants among other public places.
Besides, the vaccination card is mandatory to receive booster doses of COVID-19 as well, which is currently being administered by the government.
But if anyone who had earlier received COVID-19 shots and his/her vaccination card is missing then he/she has to follow the following procedures maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
1) Those receiving both shots of the vaccine can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,
2) For those receiving the J and J vaccine, one can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,
3) Those receiving only the first dose of the vaccine can also visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier
KATHMANDU, April 20: Government has directed the hotels and restaurants to operate their services between 8 AM and 8 PM to avoid the further risk of the second wave of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.
Issuing an order on Monday, the government said that the hotels and restaurants should provide only home delivery services 8PM onwards.
Similarly, those located along the national highways are required to provide services in shifts adhering to the public health standards.
