Kathmandu, June 19: Dairy farmers have demanded with the DDC that their outstanding payment be settled immediately. The farmers demonstrated protest in front of the office of Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) at Lainchaur, Kathmandu today demanding that they should get a fair price for the milk they sell. The protest programme was led by the Central Dairy Cooperatives Association. Association's Treasurer Bal Krishna Uprety shared that the payment of milk had been pending for seven months and thus they staged protest demanding the overdue payment with the DDC.
