LUMBINI, Feb 1: The final nomination document for including Tilaurakot, Kapilvastu in the list of World Heritage Sites has been presented to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre on behalf of the Government of Nepal. Tilaurakot is the capital of the ancient Shakya republic.
The renovation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Swayambhunath Stupa, has been completed. The structure was renovated after its pinnacle fell.
