Kathmandu. Legal proceedings have begun after a complaint was filed against Angbabu Rai, a resident of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-8 in Solukhumbu, on charges of cooperative fraud. Rai, who is also the chairman of the Rural Development Savings and Credit Cooperative Society in Solukhumbu, has given his statement at the Kathmandu District Court in this regard.While giving his statement before the bench of Judge Rajendra Kumar Acharya, he admitted that the cooperative had been operating with three dummy accounts.The cooperative's vice-chairman is Bibahadur Rai, board member Indra Kumar Rai, secretary Binodmani Rai, and treasurer Apsara Shrestha.
