Ruling alliance to form electoral alliance against UML in Makwanpur

The party had won six out of seven local units in the district which included six posts of mayor and eight of deputy-mayor. In the same election, Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center), who had formed an electoral alliance in three local units, were defeated in two local units. As the new local level elections are on our door steps, the ruling alliance that includes, Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party, have agreed to form an electoral alliance against CPN-UML.  With this, it is likely that UML has to face the ruling alliance solely in the upcoming local election.
