The Government of Nepal and the Government of the State of Israel have decided to establish a Joint Working Team to prepare a bilateral agreement for sending Nepali nationals to work in the construction sector in Israel.
KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Israel has announced that it will welcome 1,000 more Nepali migrant workers to work in its agricultural sectors.
Israel has already welcomed more than 1,000 Nepali workers as caregivers.
The Embassy of Israel based in Kathmandu has recently informed the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security regarding the decision.
Earlier on Monday, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, Hanan Goder called on
Minister Sher Bahadur Kuwar and informed about the decision.
The Nepali workers were welcomed by a joint team of the Israeli Health Ministry, Nepali Embassy in Israel and Immigration Authority and the Nepali Embassy at Ben Gurion International Airport.
