Kathmandu Installs River Trash Barriers to Collect Floating Debris

The Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee under the Ministry of Urban Development has installed trash barriers in Kathmandu's rivers to collect floating garbage. These barriers have been installed at an expense of 6.5 million rupees.The barriers were installed in 6 locations after an agreement was signed on Shrawan 2 last year.
