Dalit Journalist Association institutes journalism award

CHITWAN, September 20: The Chitwan chapter of National Dalit Journalist Association Nepal has instituted the ‘Chudamani Baral Memorial National Journalism Award, Outstanding Journalism Award and Working Journalist Award’. The award carries a purse of Rs 15,000 and five thousands each.  Young entrepreneur Arjun Rasaili Sunar and Neeta Rasaili of Bharatpur metropolis-1 provided financial support to institute the awards. The memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed by Association Chairperson Amir Ramdas and entrepreneur Sunar.  The awards will be annually given away to Dalit journalists.
