Nepalgunj. Police have arrested 77 fugitive defendants in Banke in a period of one month. Police Deputy Superintendent of District Police Office, Banke, Pratiitsingh Rathour informed that 77 defendants who were absconding after being sentenced to imprisonment and financial penalties by the court were presented in court in the month of Jestha during search and investigation.According to him, a fine of Rs 1 crore 59 lakh 23 thousand 274 is to be recovered from the arrested fugitive defendants.Rathour stated that 14 years and one month and three days of imprisonment are to be served by the defendants.
