Kathmandu. Heavy rainfall occurred in Chitwan, Gorkha, and Udayapur on Thursday afternoon following a change in weather patterns. According to the records of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Udayapur recorded the highest rainfall in the last 3 hours at 82.2 millimeters.Similarly, Gorkha experienced 80 millimeters of rain. The department stated that Chitwan received more than 60 millimeters of rainfall. By measurement standards, this constitutes heavy rainfall in all three locations.
