Bird Flu Outbreak Nears Control in Nepal
Kathmandu. The bird flu disease that has appeared in Nepal for the past few months is now nearing control. Senior veterinarian of the Department of Animal Services, Dr. Mukul Upadhyay, informed that no new infected cases of bird flu have been confirmed in any part of the country since the beginning of the current fiscal year, July 17. Kathmandu. The Council of Ministers has made 6 different decisions. Minister of Education and Government Spokesperson Sasmita Pokharel informed on Wednesday that the meeting held has made 6 decisions including appointments, fee waivers, and formation of an investigation committee. The meeting decided to appoint Basudev Acharya, a judge from High Court Tulsipur, as the Chairperson of the Special Court and Dipendra Adhikari, a judge from High Court Surkhet, as the Chairperson of the Labour Court. Kathmandu. The Council of Ministers meeting has approved the agreement reached between meter interest victims and the government side.
