Basic infrastructures developed for sports ground in Beni

MYAGDI, Novmember : Infrastructures have been constructed in an effort to develop the biggest and well-managed sports ground of Dhaulagiri in Beni municipality-1, Ratnachaur. Beni municipality and Ministry of Youth and Sports jointly developed the infrastructures for parfait, stage, a building and boundary by leveling up the Budhochaur sports ground at Ratnechaur. Ward chairperson Tek Bahadur Rawal shared that there has been so far an investment of Rs 9 million for the up-gradation of the sports ground in the last four years. He further informed that the federal government has appropriated additional budget of one million rupees for the same in the current fiscal year. Amidst a programme on Sunday, Member of Parliament (MP) Bhupendra Thapa inaugurated a two-room community building constructed on the premises of sports ground at the cost of Rs 700,000 that was appropriated from last year's budget. "Each room was handed over to Ratnechaur Awareness Group and Ratnechaur Youth Club for their office operations", he said, adding the budget has been allocated and managed aiming to construct the largest and well-managed sports ground in Dhaulagiri.
