Karnali Province in Nepal is regarded as one of the regions most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change due to its mountainous terrain, fragile ecosystems and socioeconomic conditions.
Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma said Nepal was one of the most vulnerable countries in the world because of climate change due to a climate-dependent economy and limited adaptation capacity.
