Kathmandu. Police have arrested three individuals on charges of defrauding people by promising them lucrative jobs abroad.The arrested individuals are 32-year-old Shakti Lama from Makwanpur, currently residing in Dallu, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15; 49-year-old Bishnu Budhathoki from Udayapur, residing in Chandragiri, Kathmandu; and 28-year-old Susmita Maharjan, residing in Kirtipur Municipality-10, Kathmandu.Among the accused, Shakti allegedly collected 2,663,710 rupees from six victims with the promise of sending them to Azerbaijan and Fiji; Bishnu collected 450,000 rupees from one victim promising employment in Brunei; and Susmita collected 1,700,000 rupees from one victim promising to send them to Austria before cutting off contact.
