ICC U19 World Cup Cricket: Three matches scheduled for today, Nepal to play against New Zealand tomorrow
KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Three matches under ICC U19 Cricket World Cup are scheduled for today. Today's lineup includes Scotland vs. England, Bangladesh vs. India, and Pakistan vs. Afghanistan. All matches are slated to kick off at 1:45 PM Nepali time.
The Nepali U19 cricket team, led by Skipper Dev Khanal, returned to Kathmandu on Monday after participating in the ICC U19 World Cup held in South Africa. The team won only one match against Afghanistan in group stage, which qualified them for the Super Six stage. However, they were at the receiving end against Bangladesh and the Indian U19 team in the Super Six stage. Nepal also lost against New Zealand and Pakistan in group stage.
Nepal lost to New Zealand by 64 runs in their first match of the ICC U19 World Cup in East London, South Africa on Sunday.
