Kathmandu. Airfares have increased following a rise in aviation fuel prices. The Airline Operators Association of Nepal adjusted the fuel surcharge on Wednesday to establish new fare rates.Accordingly, the fuel surcharge has increased by amounts ranging from 1,600 to 5,480 rupees across various routes. The fuel surcharge for flights from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi has been increased by 5,480 rupees. Similarly, surcharges have been set at 4,285 rupees for Surkhet, 4,045 rupees for Nepalgunj, 3,725 rupees for Bhadrapur, 2,555 rupees for Bhairahawa, 2,980 rupees for Biratnagar, 1,970 rupees for Pokhara, and 1,600 rupees for Janakpur.
