The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has opened vacancies of the secondary-level permanent teachers.
The TSC on Tuesday opened the vacancies for 1,544 secondary-level teachers.
The government has initiated efforts to remove the procedural hurdles on the vacancy announcements for teachers at community schools and teaching license exams by amending the regulation of the Teachers' Service Commission.
The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) is now preparing to conduct license examinations for permanent teachers in community schools across the country.
The commission has not conducted the examinations for about two years in lack of officials. The present government appointed officials in the TSC on August 3.
The TSC has begun its exercise to conduct the examinations of permanent teaching licence of fresh graduates eagerly waiting for the examinations to take a career in teaching.
Likewise, soon after completing the license examinations, the TSC will conduct examinations to appoint permanent teachers.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Wednesday filed a charge sheet against three officer-bearers of the now defunct Tax Settlement Commission (TSC) at the Special Court for their involvement in misappropriating tax revenue and giving undue advantage to the tax defaulters involving billions of rupees.
