Kathmandu. Eight years have passed since the rape and murder of Nirmala Pant. Pant, from Ultakhama in Bhimdatta Municipality of Kanchanpur, was murdered on 10th Shrawan 2075. The police headquarters has recently formed a committee led by SSP Krishna Pangeni to investigate the murder of Pant. The committee investigating the crime includes SP Dadhi Ram Neupane, DSP Hari Khathiwada from the Inspector General's Secretariat, and Inspector Birendra BC from the CIB, along with 15 other members.Pangeni, the coordinator of the investigation committee, has returned to Kathmandu after visiting Kanchanpur with his team.
