The 'Tea Testing, Promotion, and Research Center,' built through a partnership between the Koshi Province government and Suryodaya Municipality, remains non-operational nearly a year and a half after its inauguration. Constructed in Kanyam, Ilam—the tea capital of Nepal—this is considered the country's first tea research center.
