The Department of Quality and Metrology, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies of the Government of Nepal, has prepared a new draft by amending the quality standard for mustard oil (Nepal Quality 03:2035) for the second time.The new standard has made the production, processing, safety limits, and labeling of mustard oil stricter, and has completely banned advertisements and publicity that mislead consumers.
