Nepal's Public Debt Surges by Over 250 Billion in First Nine Months of Fiscal Year 2082/83

Kathmandu. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2082/83, Nepal's public debt has increased by more than 250 billion rupees. According to the report published by the Public Debt Management Office under the Ministry of Finance up to the end of Chaitra, Nepal's total public debt has reached 2.933 trillion 790 million rupees.At the beginning of the fiscal year, i.e., up to Shrawan 1, Nepal's total public debt was 2.674 trillion 40 million rupees.
