Makwanpur. The number of women entrepreneurs and business owners has been found to be increasing in Makwanpur district over the past few years. The rise in women entrepreneurs in Makwanpur is attributed to the government's provision of only a 50 percent fee for the registration of businesses operated by women.According to Ram Prasad Bhusal, Chief of the Office of Industry and Commerce, out of the three hundred four new industries registered in Makwanpur in the first eight months of the fiscal year 2080/83, 168 businesses were registered in the names of women.The businesses registered in the names of women are...
