Gorakhkali Rubber Industry Limited, located in Majhuwa, Gorkha Municipality-13, was registered with the Department of Industry on Jestha 30, 2041 BS, and was inaugurated by the then King Birendra in 2042 BS. Established as Nepal's only rubber industry, it began commercial production in the 2050s BS decade.The industry, established with assistance from the friendly nation of China, significantly contributed to national production and capital growth.
