Rasuwa Flood Update: Rescue Operations Underway

Kathmandu. The rescue of injured and at-risk citizens due to the flood in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa will be carried out from Thursday morning via helicopters of the Nepali Army and private sector. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, in a meeting held late Wednesday night, decided to mobilize air transport for the swift rescue of those stranded and at risk in the affected areas.As per the authority's decision, the injured rescued from the affected areas will first be treated at camps established in the Nepali Army barracks in Dhunche, Rasuwa, and Bidur, Nuwakot.
