Nepal Launches Special Flights to Evacuate Citizens from West Asia Amid Rising Tensions

Kathmandu. In response to the escalating tensions and security situation in West Asia, the government is set to operate special flights starting today to facilitate the rescue and safe movement of Nepali citizens residing in the region.Following a high-level meeting held on Thursday at the initiative of Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, it was decided that Nepal Airlines would conduct special flights from April 3 to April 5.Regular flights to the region had been suspended since February 28 due to the ongoing instability in West Asia.
