Kathmandu. Based on complaints received against the 'STD Treatment Clinic' operating in Thamel, the Nepal Medical Council has initiated a process of action. Action has been initiated against the doctors and health workers of the said clinic in accordance with the report of the investigation team formed by the Council and the Nepal Medical Council Act, 2020 and Regulations, 2024. The Council has stated that action is being taken by seeking clarification from doctors who are practicing outside their scope of work using expired licenses and creating confusion by using degrees not registered with the Council.
