Government data shows that although overall foreign direct investment in China has decreased in the first eight months of this year, foreign investment in high-tech related industries has increased significantly.According to China's Ministry of Commerce, actual utilized foreign direct investment in high-tech industries from January to August increased by 35.1% to 200.26 billion yuan.
