Prashant Upreti of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the election in Makwanpur Constituency Number-2 for the House of Representatives. At 25 years old, Upreti is set to become the youngest parliamentarian. Upreti, a local of Manahari Rural Municipality-7 in Makwanpur, was previously part of the secretariat when RSP senior leader Balen Shah was the Mayor.
