The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a charge sheet at the Special Court, Kathmandu, against senior health administrator (former 10th level) Dr. Arjun Prasad Sapkota and his wife Niraja Pandit on charges of illegally acquiring wealth. Complaints were filed alleging that Sapkota, continuously working in various attractive offices under the Ministry of Health, purchased expensive plots of land in major cities including Kathmandu, built grand houses, bought expensive vehicles, and led an unnatural lifestyle.
