Dairy and Sweet Shop Fined Rs 2 Lakh in Rautahat
Rautahat. During market inspection in Gaur, the district headquarters of Rautahat, a dairy and sweets shop has been fined Rs 2 lakh for keeping expired and quality-compromised food items for sale.The action was taken after irregularities were found during the inspection of Phultara Dairy & Sweets Bhandar located at Ghantaghar, Gaur-Budhbar by a joint team including the Office of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection, Birgunj, District Administration Office, Rautahat, Gaur Municipality, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.The team also checked the expiry dates, labels, storage, price lists, and bills-invoices of the food items.Meanwhile, a joint inspection was also conducted...
