The government has decided to provide a relief of Rs 15,000 each to 2,429 people injured in the Gen-Z movement that occurred on September 8-9, demanding good governance and anti-corruption. The uprising saw the killing of at least 74 people and hundreds of others injured.
A Cabinet meeting today took a decision in this regard, said the government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel.
