Kathmandu. The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok has rescued 46 Nepali nationals from Cambodia. All those rescued have returned to their home country.After receiving information that they were being forced into illegal activities after reaching Cambodia through various channels, they were rescued with the assistance of the Cambodian government and repatriated.According to the embassy, lured by the promise of attractive employment, 101 Nepalis reached Cambodia in 2021, 1,977 in 2022, 2,940 in 2023, 6,404 in 2024, and 9,676 in 2025.Furthermore, the embassy has urged citizens not to travel to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand without obtaining labor permits. ...
