Water that surged in the darkness, threatening to sweep away concrete and debris, Ramchandra tightly gripped the iron ladder installed on the roof of the tunnel where he worked on the banks of Nepal's Trishuli River.His quick thinking likely saved his life.He and a small group of colleagues with him were hundreds of meters away from the tunnel exit.
