Government-built housing for squatters in Raniban remains unused for intended purpose

Kathmandu. Although the government constructed buildings for squatters in Raniban, located in Nagarjun Municipality-1, Kathmandu, they have not been put to their intended use.  The area, which consists of three buildings, currently houses the Ward Number 1 office of the municipality.  Additionally, a police beat, a health office, and the office of the Raniban Nasidhoka Water Supply and Sanitation Users Committee are also located there.  In one of the buildings, the Manav Sewa Ashram is sheltering 54 elderly individuals.
