Nuwakot Rural Municipality Chairman Arrested for Banking Offense

Kathmandu. Nuwakot's Kispang Rural Municipality Chairman Birbal Tamang has been found to be absconding in a banking offense case. He was arrested by the police on Monday from within Singhdarbar. The District Police Range, Kathmandu, stated that he has been kept at the Police Circle, Darbar Marg after his arrest. He was arrested by the police as he was leaving a discussion called by Prime Minister Balen Shah. On Monday, Prime Minister Shah held discussions with local representatives from flood-affected areas including Rasuwa.
