Indra Jatra Festival Begins in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The major cultural festival celebrated in Kathmandu, Indra Jatra, has officially begun today. With the start of Indra Jatra, a linga with Indradhwaja has been erected in front of Kalbhairav at Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square area according to rituals.As the main initial ritual of Indra Jatra, after raising the linga, various programs of the festival will proceed formally.
