Kathmandu. Astronomers have discovered the fastest star in the Milky Way galaxy. This star is orbiting the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.The star, named 'S301', travels at a speed of approximately 25,000 kilometers per second. This is 100,000 times faster than a commercial airplane.It is also the closest known star to the galaxy's central black hole, 'Sagittarius A*', reaching as close as the distance between the Sun and Saturn.Felix M
