Kamala River Diversion Washed Away by Floodwaters

Siraha. Continuous rain and the resulting flood have washed away the temporary 'diversion' built on the Kamala River connecting Siraha and Dhanusha. The temporary 'diversion', built as an alternative for the bridge under construction on the Hulaki Highway, was washed away by the flood this morning. The heavy rainfall since Thursday night has caused further damage, leaving hundreds of vehicles and passengers stranded midway.
