Kathmandu. Nepal's foreign trade reached NPR 1.48 trillion in the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2082/83. According to the data from the Department of Customs, the country's total foreign trade increased by 13.55 percent during the review period to reach this level. The department's statistics show that out of this total, imports amounted to NPR 1.289 trillion and exports were valued at NPR 191.11 billion. Imports totaled NPR 1.289 trillion during the review period. This is 12.54 percent higher than imports during the same period last year.
